ISU- "I shaved for U"

                                                                    Cole and Matthew
  Matthew

As some of you know, our camping buddy, Cole Carlson was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma this summer. He is 10 and goes to school in Red Oak. He is undergoing chemo and so his family decided to shave his head since he would be losing his hair soon. Cole is a great kid and was feeling a little uncomfortable about the shaved head. So one of the school teachers had a head shaving party in her garage. 50 people, including Matthew,  had their heads shaved that day to support Cole. Channel 6 ran a story about the event and you can see it here...http://www.facebook.com/l/JAQAiFtcaAQA1rOzfBdhi1ajvOetZbia-QpDGVe79gj3DaQ/www.wowt.com/news/headlines/Iowa_Town_Shows_Support_For_Boy_Fighting_Cancer_129728533.html

It was a great turnout and there are many other friends and family that have supported the Carlsons in other ways too. Cole is doing well with his treatments and we pray for him every day!
We wish lots of healing for Cole and we're proud of you Matthew for supporting your friend!
